The Plan

In the beginning the was The PLAN.
And then came the assumptions,
And the assumptions were without form.
And The PLAN was without substance.

And Darkness was upon the face of the Field Engineers.
And they spoke unto their Project Engineers, saying:
"The PLAN is a crock of shit and it stinks!"

And the Project Engineers went unto their Senior Engineers and said:
"It is a pail of dung and none may abide the odour thereof."

And the Senior Engineers went unto their Section Heads and said:
"It is a container of excrement and it is very strong,
Such as that none here may abide it."

And the Section Heads went unto their Departmental Manager and said:
"It is a vessel of fertiser and none may abide it's strength."

And the Departmental Manager went unto the
Business Unit Manager and said:
"It is that which contains plant growth and is very strong."

And the Business Manager went unto the Deputy Manager and said:
"It promotes growth and it is very powerful."

And the Deputy Manager went unto the Managing Director and said:
"This powerful New PLAN will actively promote growth and improve the efficiency of the Department."

And the Managing Director looked upon The PLAN and saw that it was good.

And The PLAN became CORPORATE POLICY.
