King Augustin (Arnold Vosloo) of Carpia is peace loving and benign. Augustin has a daughter, Princess Luisa (Amy Acker), who likes to go hunting and riding. But, her mother, Queen Remini (Oana Pellea) wants her to be more feminine. The tranquility of the kingdom is devastated one day by a fire dragon, risen from deep sleep in a remote land. The creature poses threat to the lives of the people in the kingdom. Luisa has to look for the assistance of Gabriel (Tom Wisdom) and his friend Sangimel (John Rhys-Davies) to put an end to the life of the dragon, as Gabriel`s father, a famous dragon hunter, is already dead.
