Steve (Terry Kinney) and his daughter Marti (Gabrielle Anwar) Malone live in a small town in the heart of Alabama. Life moves pretty slowly for them and the rest of the townsfolk until a toxic waste spill outside of a nearby military base disturbs the sleepy town. Steve, an EPA agent must investigate and contain the spill. As he does he discovers that is unlike any other spill he has ever seen and he begins to become suspicious of foul play. His suspicions are confirmed when he and his daughter begin to see strange changes occurring in the base’s soldiers. He believes that it is some kind of military experiment gone wrong, but its true nature is far more terrifying than he can ever imagine.
